What Notion is Not ❌
Notion is not just another SaaS tool, or a rigid environment build on a monolithic and sequential content.
It’s not a magical solution or dogmatic method to end all your productivity problems.
It’s not the kind of AI that handles everything autonomously.
In short, Notion is not an overly structured application that does all the thinking for you.
It requires your active engagement to organise and create meaning.
What is Notion for Me ✅
For me, Notion is an application that fosters connectedness, agility and creativity across all aspects of my life and work.
It is connecting the dots
Imagine it as an infinite box of ‘smart’ Lego blocks that communicate like a neural network, capable of indefinite customisation and deep exploration.
Challenges with Notion
As with any tool and application, Notion comes with its own set of challenges:
Keeping Notion Organised: It can be difficult to maintain an organised workspace.
Gaps in Functionality: There are limitations, such as advanced database management or spreadsheet capabilities.
Feature Disappointment: Some features might be better executed in other applications.
Time Management: It’s easy to spend more time managing the tool than on actual work.
Initial Integration: The benefits of an integrated workspace aren’t always immediately apparent.
Why Notion is a Game-Changer
For those willing to invest in learning its capabilities, Notion can be an incredibly powerful tool
